My origin into art began by giving up the glamorous life of computer science and joining up with fantastic studios like Pixar, Sony and Netflix. During my time at these studios I learned how digital art could be enhanced with a compelling story, elevating the artwork to another level. I have been a 3D Artist for over 15 years now and am enamored with the NFT space. The Slice of Life collection will be filled with new characters, stories, and a unique series of 1/1’s tied together in the same world. I believe that communicating is at the heart of a commission and am happy that the Atrium creation process includes time and questions for me to connect with the collector.

My credentials as a creator consist of Animation Director, Screenwriter, Techno Music Producer, and Old film enthusiast. My original love was for painting, but developed a deep appreciation for film over time. This love of film is what has brought me to animation as I feel it offers so much in how you can tell a story. After graduating at BFA my experience led me to participate in the creation of a few animated films, commercials, and series that leveraged various artistic styles. In 2008 I established Shockunit Studio, dedicating its creation to the development and production of original projects. Growing up, I was constantly relocating to different countries because of my family. I grew up with many different cultures and art was the one medium that connected me with people. This ultimately led me to my career as a CG artist and animator.
 
I have been animating in film and TV for 10 years, working for studios such as Netflix, Sony Imageworks, HBO, Disney+, Warner Bros., to name a few. I was fortunate enough to work on some blockbuster movies and shows that you have probably seen and, hopefully, enjoyed.

I’ve always loved film, but there are certain moments that always caught my attention more than others. Seeing a location for the first time, you experience the lighting, the mood, the feel of the landscape. The location / landscape is as much a character in the narrative as the hero or villain. Illustrating and animating has always been a bit of an escape for me, if I am bored or stressed my art has and will continue to be the outlet I come back to time and time again. Creating a world of my own was something I have relished throughout my life, a skill I have grown an appreciation for over time. I don’t know what I expected when I joined the NFT space a little over a year ago, but the reception from multiple communities has given me more confidence to invest in my ability to create. Having strayed from an artistic path earlier in my life, it's an incredible feeling to have it be the core of who I am today. Whether I’m developing a political drama, a rom-com, or a fantasy adventure script, I write stories about witty underdogs who rise to buck the systems that they’ve been raised in. Screenwriting gives me the chance to explore new worlds and subvert expectations by offering a perspective that Hollywood doesn't typically see. My journey to screenwriting started when I created #StarringJohnCho, a viral movement that used Photoshop to reimagine hit movie posters with actor John Cho in the lead role. The project sparked a global discussion about Asian representation in media and pushed me to start telling my own stories from my community. Now, I’m a repped screenwriter whose work has been recognized by top writing fellowships like the Sundance Episodic Lab and the NBCU TV Writers Program, as well as having been voted to the annual Black List, which selects the best unproduced scripts in Hollywood. I believe that a good story starts by taking complicated characters hiding vulnerable secrets, and then unleashing those truths in extraordinary, high-flying moments. Co-creating these Atrium stories will require trust, communication, and a dash of hope and give us both the chance to discover new ways to learn about experiences beyond our own.

Throughout my life, I have been fascinated by motion. My background stems from understanding how things move and relate to each other which inspired me to study motion graphics, graphic design, and music production. My whimsical works are mostly defined by music, which is produced as the first stage of the creation process in my work. I have always had a love for music and have found that creating a musical foundation in my work allows me to make every movement wrapped into a warm musical blanket. Looking back, I see my sound and design were influenced by the visual and aesthetics of the 70s as well as contemporary digital art. That inspiration has led to a consistent theme of smooth transitions and continuous fluidity that is present throughout all my work.

My commission collection invites owners to imagine a dreamstate loop complete with custom soundtrack. While so much of what we deal with in life is concrete, this collection blurs the lines and invites you to see the world in a new way. Always evolving, never static, and imbued with a sense of self through collaboration. We will begin with the music as the mood will shape the tone for the final animation. Garfield is an award-winning writer, director, and producer with over 20 years of experience creating high-quality, thought-provoking content for TV and theatrical release.

A graduate of Wesleyan University, Garfield has collaborated on film and TV projects with Oscar-winning actors and Emmy-winning producers. He has worked on scripted and unscripted projects for Netflix, Hulu, ViceTV, MTV, Discovery+, Paramount +, and traditional broadcast and theatrical releases. In 2021, he wrote the dramatic feature film Percy, starring Christopher Walken and Christina Ricci, which earned a “guaranteed fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes and became a top-5 seller on iTunes for over a month. 

Garfield entered the crypto space in 2021, participating in the formation of BlockbusterDAO (Now R3WIND). In 2022 he was commissioned to write a feature film treatment for NOUNS, a CC0 NFT project on the Ethereum blockchain. He is a member of the Skybrook community and is currently a story consultant for the first feature film fully funded through the sale of NFTs, Calledita. Drawn to the boundless freedom and ethos of crypto, Garfield believes there are endless narrative possibilities in the space.  I cut my writing teeth working at a London ad agency. My first play became the basis of my first film treatment, which won me a meeting with Four Weddings producer Tim Bevan. Next I scripted for the award-winning BBC show Doctors, had my first short toured by the British Council. I’m way happier with White Lily, a meditative sf piece which picked up a heap of awards and has over 2m YouTube views. Last few years I’ve developed animation work that’s getting attention, along with creating storyworlds and scripts for  MMORPGs, comics, mobile gaming and audio apps. Since I was a kid, I've been obsessed with rhythm and beats - I would tap my feet and drum my fingers on everything around me, constantly trying to create new rhythms and grooves. I am always pushing the boundaries of what is considered "normal" in music production, and I am not afraid to take risks and try new things. I began my career as an audio engineer so capturing the most high quality material is second nature. For me, the more eccentric and unconventional the sounds within a production, the better - because at the end of the day, it's all about creating music that is unique, memorable, and truly one-of-a-kind.

Into the Room

Hello! I'm Indrajeet Sisodiya and I go by Indy.
I've always been a curious daydreaming kid. I distinctly remember every Sunday, setting up my G.I.Joe toys on the bed and using pillows to make a landscape with hills and valleys. Then making hour long stories, filled with dialogues, fast paced action, epic slow motion, sound effects, make believe explosions and what not. Growing up like this, I wanted to find a way to bring the worlds in my head out into reality. I started playing with 2D animation in Flash, back in high school. Eventually I learned motion graphics and 3D, completed my Bachelors in animation and moved to Canada to pursue my dream further. After finishing my post grad in advanced VFX, I started working in the film industry. 
Being a Senior Compositor, I've gathered 8+ years of experience working on Hollywood films, TV shows and commercials like Halo, The Mandalorian, Star Trek, Strange New Worlds, Fallout 4, Fast and Furious and more. Currently I'm working at Pixomondo pushing the envelope of Virtual Production at some of the largest LED stages in the world.

While working in the film has taught me the skills to create high quality visuals, storytelling has always been where my heart's at.

Through IndyStry, I'm building a platform to hone my directing skills. As a world builder, my favorite genre is sci-fi. I love building photoreal, believable  worlds that capture a sense of awe and grandeur.
