Whether I’m developing a political drama, a rom-com, or a fantasy adventure script, I write stories about witty underdogs who rise to buck the systems that they’ve been raised in. Screenwriting gives me the chance to explore new worlds and subvert expectations by offering a perspective that Hollywood doesn't typically see. My journey to screenwriting started when I created #StarringJohnCho, a viral movement that used Photoshop to reimagine hit movie posters with actor John Cho in the lead role. The project sparked a global discussion about Asian representation in media and pushed me to start telling my own stories from my community. Now, I’m a repped screenwriter whose work has been recognized by top writing fellowships like the Sundance Episodic Lab and the NBCU TV Writers Program, as well as having been voted to the annual Black List, which selects the best unproduced scripts in Hollywood. I believe that a good story starts by taking complicated characters hiding vulnerable secrets, and then unleashing those truths in extraordinary, high-flying moments. Co-creating these Atrium stories will require trust, communication, and a dash of hope and give us both the chance to discover new ways to learn about experiences beyond our own.

This is the prologue to your NFT’s unique story. The discovery of a disturbing secret. A chance encounter with the future love of their life. The tragic accident that motivated them to don the cape. The Origin Story Collection from yuwil will provide a striking, scripted vignette that will introduce your NFT at the beginning of their story and set up future narrative possibilities. Together, we’ll discuss and co-create the internal and external drivers of your character and discover what adventure they’re about to be called to embark on.

My origin into art began by giving up the glamorous life of computer science and joining up with fantastic studios like Pixar, Sony and Netflix. During my time at these studios I learned how digital art could be enhanced with a compelling story, elevating the artwork to another level. I have been a 3D Artist for over 15 years now and am enamored with the NFT space. The Slice of Life collection will be filled with new characters, stories, and a unique series of 1/1’s tied together in the same world. I believe that communicating is at the heart of a commission and am happy that the Atrium creation process includes time and questions for me to connect with the collector.

I'm a composer specialising in cinematic orchestral music. My fascination with musical scores from blockbuster movies and video games is reflected in my work, as I aim to create colorful and complex sounds that tell a story and strengthen the narrative.

Epitome

Growing up, I was constantly relocating to different countries because of my family. I grew up with many different cultures and art was the one medium that connected me with people. This ultimately led me to my career as a CG artist and animator.
 
I have been animating in film and TV for 10 years, working for studios such as Netflix, Sony Imageworks, HBO, Disney+, Warner Bros., to name a few. I was fortunate enough to work on some blockbuster movies and shows that you have probably seen and, hopefully, enjoyed. 
 
Now, as I enter the NFT space to release a commission collection on my own, I look forward to taking my professional skills of storytelling and animation to create a unique piece of art rooted in your own personal experience. I believe that our avatars are an expression of our digital selves and I look forward to helping you share that story.


HKJAY

Your PFP is an extension and representation of you. This collection is about creating the Origin story of you in your digital form. We will be building out the world that your NFT character is set in and the story you want them to embark on. Whether it is set in a grungy apartment in the past, or a dystopic New York alleyway in the future, we will bring the character and environment to life in an animated short. We want to tell a perfect story, but we also want each commission to stand out as an art piece on its own. Together, we can collaborate and create some beautiful custom animation that allows you and everyone else to understand what you are about in the web3 space.

I eminently love art, stories and technology and they have been the focus of my work for over the last decade. Previously at Luma Pictures I oversaw a team of artists working on some of your favorite Marvel movies, Spider-Man: No Way Home & Avengers: Age of Ultron to name a few. My prior experience and skillset has led me here to Atrium, where I am able to take everything I have learned and combine art, storytelling, and technology to provide an unforgettable experience to the collectors of web3.

Zen Doubt

The collection will be an anthology of cinematic scenes. An art collection featuring NFT characters and stories born from the imagination of their collectors. Think animated comic strip meets operatic cinema! You as the collector will collaborate with Myself & the Atrium Story Core to tell the unfolding saga you imagine. Together we will build the story of your hero step by step, and introduce a foundation you can build from in the future. Whether you are looking to create a single animation or string together many to discover new lands, rare treasures, epic fights, and tales of love for your character is up to you. You decide their fate. These collaborations between collector and artist aim to celebrate what’s possible with ownership throughout Web3, and empower collectors to be a creative partner. My transition into the digital art space has just begun and I can’t wait to leverage my experience to combine art, storytelling and technology with my collectors.
